Materials & Process
From Design to Printed Part
We print in a wide range of materials to suit the job including PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, and more so the part you get matches what it actually needs to do, whether that’s a display piece, a functional prototype, or a replacement part under real load.
If you don’t already have a CAD file, that’s no problem. We can use 3D scan data to reverse engineer an existing part, or design your part from scratch using our CAD services then print it directly from that model.
Print Methods
FDM vs. SLA
Not sure which process fits your part? Here’s the difference.
Economical best for everyday needs. Parts are made by depositing molten plastic in layers to build the final shape. Suitable for around 90% of jobs, for both small and large parts.
Suitable Applications
- Prototypes
- Machine parts
- Car parts
- Hobbies & gadgets
- Rapid prototypes
- Architectural models
- Molds
- Art
Max Size
- 350 x 350 x 400mm
Materials
- ABS, TPU, PLA, PETG and more
For intricate objects. Parts are made by hardening layers of resin using UV light ideal for precision and display parts, with far less visible layer lines than FDM. Parts are generally less wear-resistant and more brittle than FDM prints.
Suitable Applications
- Art & modelling
- Certain machine parts
- Jewellery
- Medical & dental
- Rapid prototypes
- & much more
Max Size
- 200 x 120 x 210mm
Materials
- UV Resins
